Change or cancel your regular donation

Recurring donations are the most effective way to keep Wikipedia thriving and help us plan for the future, so your support has made a real difference.

We understand that circumstances can change and sometimes people may wish to give more, or less, or cancel their recurring donation.

If you need to change or cancel your recurring donation, please email donate@wikimedia.org and include the following:

1. The type of change you would like to make to your donation;
2. The email address that was used when the donation was made;
3. The full name used; and
4. The amount and currency of the donation.

Please do not include your credit card number or other financial information when contacting us.

You will receive an email confirmation when the change is completed.

Please note: If you donate by credit/debit card, in some cases credit card processors will notify us when card details (including expiration date) are updated, to ensure the donation is not interrupted. If you have questions about this, please contact your credit card provider for more information.
